Crystyle Family Hair Care hair salon is a dream come true.
The salon is a creative idea by its licensed Stylist Crystal Martino. She loves what she does it is her gift to the world. She got her cosmetology License from the SC state board, in the 12th Grade from attending the Dorchester County Career School. She then went to Piedmont Technical College for business. She became torn between getting her degree and moving back home to help her dad with her amazing mom who was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. After her first semester she went back home to the small town of St. George SC. In 2005 she started working with her cosmetology licensed for a corporate hair salon called Regis Smartstyle in Summerville SC. It was really hard to travel 30miles to work in her industry as a single mom and a caregiver. So having a residential salon put Crystal’s mind at ease. By 2012 Crystal wanted to stop working for other salon owners and get her own establishment. She did not have the money or the clientele but God was with her when she presented her plan to her dad Ralph Martino. God put it on his heart to invest in Crystal Martino. God also got Crystal’s Grandma the late Eloise Barton Martino to invest in her business. The Crystyle Family Hair Care building is a storage building and Ralph Martino hired laborers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians to bring Crystal’s vision to life.
